Found 31 sheets of 4 x 12 and 6 x 12 1/2" thick drywall for $100 on Craigs list. Cant get it today because I dont have a place to store it yet that wont cost me. Oh well, there'll be other deals right? Man, Craig's list was full of stuff like that. Brand new stainless steel kitchen sink for $40 (the two sided, one side bigger kind that my mom paid $200 for), ceramic and clay tile, granit counters, cement mixers, all kinds of stuff... Watching it closely!

I had to relocate to Omaha temporarily as work at the Lake of the Ozarks has died for us! My son and I have furnished this duplex almost completely off of CL for Free! The only thing I have paid for is a microwave oven, brand new for $20.00. So far, we have found:
2 Beds
2 TV's
A sofa and chair
a table and chairs
a computer desk
a Jack LaLane workout station
a bbq grill
and various dishes, pots and pans utensils.

Yep. My dad has an old barn on his proprety that I thought I could store some stuff in, but sheetrock definitely wouldnt do well there since the barn does leak some. But other stuff I can store there. If i get to build the garage first (with a small apartment up top) then I can store stuff in the dry on my land. Land incentives for sure....

CL is a great site. I
CL is a great site. I search the free section regularly. Once, I posted 4 free items in one ad, all of which were completley unrelated (tarp, mountain bike, aquarium, scrap metal) but it is amazing how many people need exactly those 4 items! What are the odds? So I advedrtised a free hole in the ground using a buddies telephone number and he countered with giving my log splitter away to a needy family. My phone rang so much that I had to keep it on the charger and turn off the ringer.
