Hello everybody!
I live in Holland and houses here are very expensive!
Does anyone know if there are some good reliable books for sale that I can read about building a loghome? I'm not very skilled, so please keep that in mind.
I would like to take the course but that is not going to happen for some while I think.
Let me hear your suggestions please.

...Not sure where you live but I live in Den Haag...I don't have all of my books with me during our stay in Europe - but have about 10 pretty solid books if you want to take a look...Shoot me an email and we can discuss (jordan.laube@gmail.com)...

log home building book
Try "Living Homes" by Thomas J. Elpel. He gives a lot of how-to ideas on building homes, including the method taught in class. Not as detailed, of course, but it's a very good source. He also tells about straw bale homes, slip forming stone walls, basic construction methods, and energy efficiency.
Well worth buying.
