If you have questions such as "How much does it cost to build a log home?" "Can I mix species of wood?" "How much do logs cost?" "What is a real log home?" "Can one person build a log home?" "How well do log homes withstand earthquakes?" et cetera, then please see the Log Home FAQ section.

The Q&A Hotline The Log Home Builders Association offers a free log home "question and answer" e-mail hotline to the general public. We are happy to answer your specific questions about log homes, log cabins, construction, etc. by e-mail. Obviously, we can't teach the craft of log home building via e-mail, but we're happy to answer as much as we are able. The question-and-answer e-mail hotline is info@loghomebuilders.org.
