We are pleased to announce a new Exceptional Log Home Award recipient: Jeff and Nancy.
After taking our class in the early 1980's they built an absolutely beautiful log home in the Lake Roesiger area.
It's a 3 story log home with around 2540 SQ FT., and a foot print of about 30'x40'. The species of log used was Western Hemlock that was harvested on site. There's some really awesome rock work, and a really great log staircase with log rails.
No doubt about it, Jeff and Nancy can be very proud of the log home they built.

I've been a member for several years, have poured over all the available photos and blogs, and seen a number of member homes close up. Yet it never ceases to amaze me what LHBA members are able to construct.
Another fantastic example of log construction. Congratulations.
