I have a corner on my log home that is not
covered by the roof overhang. The top log is
not looking very well. Is there any type of
flashing that I could put on it, to protect the
top log and the logs there under?
Thanks!
Smokey

Depending on the overhang , if it is a butt and pass method home you can trim the logs back a bit as one solution. I have also removed the rot and formed individual copper covers. I have also used knee braces to support bolted-on rafter/roof extensions.

Welcome, Smokey.
By not looking well, do you mean you have some rot or is it just discoloration? Either way, if the logs aren't protected, you will get rot.
More info will help us give better advice.

How do I upload pictures of the logs on this site?
Thanks
photo "upload"
Smokey,
As of now there is no way to directly upload images to this site. Stay tuned, I expect it will happen sooner than later. They are working on all sorts of improvements.
For now, use a photo site, many people, myself included use www.photobucket.com. Sign up for a free account and upload your pics to there. Copy the "" tag and paste it in your post. The LHBA site will show the image posted in the photobucket site.

Normally, if you want to post a photo, just host it somewhere like photo bucket and then right click and copy the url and then copy it into and the pic will show up.

Pictures would do a world of good. If we can see detailed pictures of what you're talking about we can probably help quite a bit.
