I just bought 4 acres in Suffolk, other wise I'd be coming to see you. I got a good deal on some logged timber track. They did however leave a good thirty to forty foot of woods up at the road to buffer the property from the road. You can drive by and not even know it's there. Getting logs for a log home won't be a problem as 75% of the traffic going by seems to be logging trucks.
I'm still anxiously waiting for the next class to be announced so I can proceed intelligently.
Are you looking at building a log home, or just selling your property?

Vacant land/lots for sale in District of Muskoka Ontario
Hello Everyone,
We have 6 vacant residential lots for sale in the beautiful Township of Georgian Bay in the District of Muskoka Ontario!!!!!! These lots are less than 5 minutes from Hwy 400 acess ramp and less than 3 minutes from the famous Lake Joseph!!!!! All lots are also within 20 km of over 20 fresh water Muskoka lakes that all have pulbic water acess (including public access to Lake Joe). I am posting this up here as these lots are also fully natureally treed lots that are perfect for log homes! The lots are also already hooked into the town water and sewer which is rare in this area!. Everyone wants naturally treed lots and access to the Muskoka Lakes but not waterfront as to avoid the huge property taxes on waterfront properties there. These lots give you the best of both worlds - treed private lots with water and sewer but not high taxes to pay. Hate to sound like a hard sell here but if anyone woudl like more information we would be happy to proivde it. Lots range in size from .22hectares to .24 hectares for us Canadians and .54acres to .84 acres for the rest - lol - lot prices are from $37.000 to $42, 000 Canadian
Also, my parents live directly beside a log home and have for years. Not sure who build it but I could find out. It is just currently for sale as well if anyone is interested in ti - it is about 5 kms from the lots that we have for sale in Foots Bay Ontario.
