Last time we counted, there were about 2,710,000 web sites on the Internet that offered free log home plans.  Just go ahead and run a search at google and see for yourself.  Unfortunately that is entirely misleading, what they are really offering are free log home "floor plan ideas."  That is much different than giving away real log home plans (blueprints). 

Even if you found free log home plans (blueprints) on the Internet they would undoubtedly be useless for members and students of our Association.  That's because we will be showing you the right way to build a log home, and who knows if that set of "free log home plans" came from a designer who actually knows what they were doing. 

A bad set of free plans will spell absolute ruin for your log home building project.  In fact, a bad set of expensive plans will also spell ruin.

 So "free" log home plans are a thing of the past.  In fact, most jurisdictions will not even accept plans unless they are professionally drawn with a high degree of technical, engineering details.  Those types of plans are copyrighted by the Architect or designer, which means they can't be given away for free. 

So if you can't get free plans, then we will do the next best thing.

We also explain how to find and work with your local professionals, so you can go home and create plans that meet your requirements.  Of course we'll also give pointers on how to draw your own plans too, even though most jurisdictions frown on self drawn plans.
