Georgia log homes

I would love to build one of these cabins in north Georgia, but would like to talk to someone in my neck of the woods who has done it. I also am an older :) woman and wondered if it is still possible.

I am building right now near birmingham, AL. It is diffinitely Possible!! You need to check out the class.

Thanks for posting the link to your blog. You have done a great job and it reenforces my motivation to build my own log home some. I hope to move back to Alabama in two more years and can't wait to get started. I am currently a member of the US Army stationed in Hawaii so I have nothing to complain about, but I hope to get out there soon to pick out some land and begin the process. Perhaps you can give me some pointers once I figure out where I am going to settle.

Just look me up when you get to Alabama.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I do hope to take the class when offered in Seattle. I have a brother that lives out there.
