flying in from oahu. got some land in florida to work with. don't know about the requirements there yet.

We're only an exit away! We're renting off Fall River right now. Still looking for that perfect piece of land. We'll probably try and stay aroung the York Gulch area if possible, but are open to anything right now. We have some time and are not in a huge hurry, that why I figure this might be a good time for the class.
Any other CO folks build in Clear Creek Co? Just curious how they are to deal with.

What area you in? Looking at a couple of parcels of land, one by Rainy Lake and the other nearer Ely. Almost bought a 1800 vintage log cabin on Rainy last week but it was in real rough shape and then I started thinking "I bet I can .... " hence why I am here, standing n line and pleading for another class.....lol

I will be taking the next loghome class in early 2011 if they set it up. I hope it works out for them to set up that class. I just emailed them regarding next class. I will email them again showing my interest. Will you do the same? If there is inough of us interested, most likely they will go through with the class.
By the way. Do you think that Mr Loghousenut really needs that tractor to do any work for him? I think it is on the way of things and he just moving it out of the way. :)
I am in nourthern Michigan. Purchased the land. Gathering some tools. Waiting to take the class and will start to build withing a year or two.
