Hey Stu!!

Stu, Thanks for posting that pic of the hickory! When Natalie and I were in our forest marking trees for the future house, we came across this type of tree frequently. Natalie had a handy fold-out chart about tree identification that she got at a Border's Books and we matched these trees as closely as we were able to be Hickory. Now that you posted that pic, it validated our identification. I guess we won't be cutting those down if they can feed us!

Glad it was helpful. Shelling the nuts are a lot of work, but it is so worth it. That reminds me, I have to go collect another batch before the squirrels take em all.Stu
