Homesteading

Homesteading seems to have many definitions... I think it depends on what each of want individually want & need. I respect each of the previous posts. What I have experienced, is where ever we live, there is someone or many people that have done homesteading way before we thought of it! Finding these people has been a great source of information for myself and my family, we have made good friends, helped one another, learned alot, shared life. There have been old-timers and there have been the eco-crowd, but we all share a common goal, self reliance in some form. :) Here in rural N.Y. we come across many like minded people that have much to offer! This forum is a great place to bounce ideas, Skip, Elsworth, Steve & the crew, keep up the good work!
