Don't know if this is a useful suggestion but I've noticed a lot of people are starting at square 1 with building a log home--need to find the land first. How many acres, what kinds of trees, how many trees, successfully buying it, financials, covenants, permits, terrain, the list goes on and on. I realize some of these topics are covered in other forums, but maybe having it all under the same umbrella?
