This home was built by a husband and wife team, Joel and Lynne Thomas along with their children.  This was the first home they built after taking the Association's 2-day log home class.

Joel recently sent us a bunch of pictures, and included the following note:

I've enclosed a few pictures of the cabin we've built using your method.  We've done it all by ourselves (including elctricity and plumbing)..."

Their beautiful home is located high in the Cascade Mountains -- with a picturesque stream and plenty of seclusion. The builders sent us many photographs of the home under construction. We will include a few of the photos here:
