if anyone is interested i have contact info for some beautifully straight southern yellow pine near evansville(southern) indiana , 30 cents per bf , makes for some fairly cheap logs even if you have to truck them a bit further , the man with the contract says he'll be there for the next 9-12 months , so even if your building next year you can secure your logs now at a descent price !
