Introduce yourself thread

Hey, guys--

Reading Rod, etc.'s posts about the Million Dollar Rolodex reminded me of something I'd wondered in the past.

Any chance of splitting the "Introduce yourself" threads into a year at a time and leaving them up but locked (maybe as a sticky so they stay at the top for easy reference)? Sometimes interesting stuff gets posted in there, and it's also nice to be able to check back to the details new members gave when they first posted. However, I almost never go to that thread because it's so long and full of so much miscellaneous.

Seems like if all the posts were kept, but maybe cut into more manageable sections with dates in the subject line for reference, it might be easier to surf through? Does anyone else avoid that thread because of the length and convolutions?

Just a thought. Thanks, Ellsworth and Steve, for doing what needs to be done to keep these forums useful, positive and productive.

Perhaps in reverse order?

Perhaps as an alternative, a choice for reverse order so I can see the latest posts. I've already gone through the 15 or so pages.
