Here's a link for land, homes, and duplex aprtment buildings. I once saw a 4 unit build completely rented sell for $12,500.00. Acres and acres of land for under $250.00. They also list afew tax sales from various states.

Have a great day!

You want to be REALLY careful buying land through an auction site. There's usually good reason why properties end up there, compared to selling via normal market channels.

Take a look at this story Ellsworth posted in the member's section some time ago. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002442840_landauction17m.html

If you're still willing to go that route, take your time and do the research, and don't let yourself be rushed into a sale. Better to let it get away than get ripped off. Also, get Finding & Buying Your Place in the Country to prepare you for the possible pitfalls that await the unwary.

Right on Rod.

Being in the mortgage business I've run into all too often people who think they are going to get rich quick by finding a "too good to be true" deal. Although good deals do happen they are far and few between.

I had a customer a few months ago inquire on a land purchase and he advised it was for sale on ebay (1.5 acres for $1000). Well curiousity got to me so I did some digging, which he hadn't done. First of all the ebay listing didn't even have the right township information. It was in the neighboring township. I discoverd the land is nothing but a gas line right of way. There is no way you could ever build on it, unless you want to possibly get blown halfway to the moon. When I told the guy what I had found out he was like "oh". It scares me how many people must throw their money out the window because of internet auctions.

So buyer beware!

I agree. You'll also smart to check out the property before bidding. There is a traveling auction that came through town a few months back and they had an acre in Hawaii listed at 14,900 full price, but the same "show", also had they same parcel, or similar for sale in TX for 10,000.

I always thought things were cheaper in TX, just not paradise.
