I hate to part with this but since I moved, it is now sitting in storage and it is all too big for my new cabin (when built).

So here it is kiddies:

A lodgepole pine queen logbed, a big aspen pine dresser/armoire and a lodgepole nightstand. The bed has 2 rails on each side of the bed. The pics only show 2 but there are 4 side rails in total. The metal cutout on the headboard is shifted off center. It slides on grooves. When I moved it outside, it slid. Theres nothing wrong, you can just slide it along the grrooves and center it. I didn't notice it until I downloaded the pics.

buyer pays shipping.

I paid 2500 bucks just for the bed 8 years ago. Dresser was 1000 and the nightstand was 300. that totals 3800 clams.

I am open to all offers. Don't be shy.

(i found a lil place with free wifi .. up here in the mountains... kewl.)

log bdrm set sale $1400

I would take $1400 bucks for all of it. It won't fit in my new cabin and I do not want to keep it in storage.

logbed sold to a deserving army gal

I sold the logbed for $500. A young military gal was home from Iraq and bought it. She got a deal and a half.

Wow. That was a painfully

Wow. That was a painfully difficult sale. (I know that feeling when I was selling my plane) Hopefully, some comfort can come from the fact it was sold to another who has also made sacrifices.

a good cause and hopefully create good karma

Yes Rod, The young gal was in love with it and only had 500 bucks. It was sitting in my barn and I didn't want it to be exposed to moisture and critters. No one has too much money right now. I was glad to sell it and have no regrets. I had some "richy-rich" lady offer me 250 for it. I told her I would rather give it away for free to someone who really needed it before I'd sell it to her. She made a pruneface and scuffed off in her little shiney sports car.

The military gal was tickled to death about buying it. I delivered it to her house, gave her a big hug and told her to get back soon and safe. She was only home for 2 weeks and deployed back to Bagdad last Friday.

I am glad the bed got a good home...no matter what the cost. The hell with the money. There are often more important things in life.
