The people who purchased Mike's home were so impressed with his work that they hired him to add the second floor balcony, AND enclose the carport on the right side of the house.

According to Mike, when you sell a log home you are often immediately hired to do additional work for the buyers after the sale. 

The buyer might want you to add an additional wing onto the home, add a deck, or build a log gazebo, et cetera.  So you can make money on selling the home, and then you can make money after the sale too.
