Hi,
My name is mike im looking for some log dogs i can make them my self or buy them, anybody have some advise.

Haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. When I do so if I think they need changed to chisel shaped then I'll take a grinder to them.

How did the pyramid-shaped tips work out for you? I remember the log dogs that Ellsworth showed us in class had chisel-shaped tips rotated 90-degrees from each other to match the log grain.

They were cheaper than any other place i looked, $17ea. I was a little skeptical of how sturdy they would be for that price but any skepticism I had went out the window when I got them!
I felt they were a good buy for $17 each.
PS...I feel this post would be better suited under Buy-Sell-Trade???
