NEW CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are offering a log home class on November 17th and 18th 2007.
*CLASS IS FULL*
This class will fill up very rapidly because we have not offered classes for many months. The last class we offered sold out in about one week. It's advisable to sign up as soon as possible, in order to secure a seat.
Please read this entire announcement before signing up.
You can sign up now for our class on November 17th and 18th. WE ACCEPT ANY MAJOR CREDIT CARD. We also accept DEBIT CARDS with the Visa or Mastercard logo (just use it like a regular credit card).
DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING PAYMENT OPTIONS: atm direct debit card, digital check, bill me later, or FXsource. Your order WILL NOT go through if you use one of those methods.
Instead only use the "Credit Card" option -- and pay with a major credit card, or a debit card that has a Visa or Mastercard logo.
The shopping cart system on our new website isn't ready yet, so for the time being here's how our temporary system will work. Just go to the sign up page, scroll down and enter the number of people attending into the sign up box.
If two or more people are attending, then the group discount will be automatically applied to your order -- so long as you pay for everyone at once (on the same credit card).
Then hit the sign up button and begin the payment process (be sure to select the credit card payment option, that's the only one we accept).
Our credit card processor (a company called 2checkout) will be handing the transaction, so don't be alarmed when the URL changes -- this is a totally secure transaction, you will see a gold lock on the payment page.
Once you complete the payment process you should end up at a web-page where you'll find links to the membership application, driving directions, hotel information, a list of what to bring, et cetera. It's very important that you visit that page, and explore all the links there.
We look forward to meeting you at the class, and sharing our log home information with you. If you have any questions, or need assistance, just email info@loghomebuilders.org

Fewer than five spots...
It should say fewer than five spots left, rather than less. If you can count items individually, you use fewer instead of less. For example, my recipe for Apple Pie uses fewer apples, and less sugar.

Help!; about upcoming class!
Hi,
Just wanting some kind of confirmation that you
are expecting hubby and I for this class.
I have receipt for payment and had a friend send the
requested Fax but still have NOT received any kind of
confirmation from the loghome builders assoc.
Since I have prepaid travel, and hotel etc. I would like
some assurances that you are expecting us in the November class.
Thanks!
Upcoming Class......Help
Hi Grannyk!
I am taking the November 10-11 class. I sent this to someone else several weeks ago so I'll copy it here for you.
I had the same concerns, and sent a couple of e-mails to the office e-mail. Attached are the responces I got from Chuck. I would just bring copies of your confirmation e-mail regarding your payment (This comes from a separate company taking the payment), and your fax copies you sent into the office.
By the way, I spent a lot of time reviewing this so there would not be any spelling mistakes or misuse of the English language....LOL
John
1) Hi John,
We don't normally send out any confirmation emails. I do see your payment, so you for sure have a seat in the class.
Your friend,
Chuck
2) Hi John,
We don't check the faxes until closer to the class date.
We'll assume it all went through fine, but just in case bring the paper copy with you to the class.
Your friend,
Chuck
Sorry Grannyk, I thought you
Sorry Grannyk, I thought you were the one doing the grammatical reviews but it was the guitar playing Eric Klapner!!!

Upcoming Class - PLEASE READ
Grannyk,
Just to let you know - I was looking for confirmation as well. I went through the same thing. Let me tell you that I DID in fact fly 3000 miles to Monroe, WA, and I DID in fact meet Steve and Ellsworth, and I DID in fact take the class on 10/20 and 10/21. Great class - learned lots of great information. This class is worth its weight in gold. Lots of attention paid to detail. Bring a notebook - (I took 30 pages of great notes), bring lunch on both days, bring a good flashlight, and bring a slicker. Trust me - you will be needing them.
Steve and Ellsworth are great guys. You will see.. Ask them about Skip's homemade cookies for the class.
Regards
jfarhi
Thanks so much for the encouragment and advice about Nov class
Thanks all,
I feel better now. I have bought one of those package deals for airfare, hotel and rental car and it is all prepaid and nonrefundable plus the money I paypaled to loghomebuilders association so I am in it deep if there is a problem. I have been dying to take the class for several years and I would be heartbroken if this didn't work out now. In fact, I am hoping that shortly after the class we will make a decision on land to buy. I have been scouting out several areas and am just waiting to hear their advice before making a land purchase. This is a dream come true for me and I don't want to be left out in the cold.
