Here's the guest room closet in this log home.  Having a framed wall meet a log wall is no problem at all, it is an easy transition to make.

The first floor in John's log home has a tongue and groove oriented strand board subfloor (OSB).  This subfloor can be covered up with any kind of finished flooring material that you want to use (tile, carpet, hardwood, et cetera).
