Log Home Insurance

I have a log home that was built in the 30's it has an addition to it which puts it at 60% Stick frame and 40% Log. I am having issues getting regular insurance.  The only type I have been quoted is ACV ( Acutual Cash Value ).  I was wondering if anyboy had any ideas about what I should do or who you use.  By the way I live in Troy Missouri north west of St. Louis.

Thx

We started with State farm, switched to progressive because much better rates (combined with car insurance too).

Nobody I called seemed to have issues with insurange a self-built log home. If you have issues I'd suggest you call a different office.

I use 21st century
