Framing the interior of a log home can be either incredibly easy, or very hard.
In a properly built butt and pass log home, it is generally incredibly easy -- because none of the interior framed walls bear any weight. The only things bearing weight in a butt and pass log home are the wall logs, girders, ridge pole, and floor joists.
That makes the framing easy, and it means you can change the floor plan at any time. John actually added an extra room to his house during the framing process by tweaking the floor plan.
