Log Home made of Pretzels!

Outstanding!

Looks great! It's even got a ridge pole with RPSLs, we didn't do that on our house :-)

Here is my butt and pass pretzel log cabin.

You inspired me to get some pretzels and make my own cabin.

I was thinking about using sewing pins for rebar, but I didn't want to pull them out to eat the cabin, so I just made thick mortar.
The walls are standing by themselves, but the roof is cardboard. I was going to use chocolate bark, but I cheaped out.
Thanks for the great idea!

What was used for rebar? LOL

No rebar

We kinda cheated. If you look through the other pictures you will see that we built the house around a box.

Hopefully I won't get kicked out of the association for unapproved building techniques! ;-)

I can't give away the secret recipe for my chinking!

I can't give away the secret recipe for my chinking! Actually, I'm serious, I can't give it away--because I don't know what it is :-) My beautiful and talented wife made it! But I will say it's just "regular" frosting as far as I know. Milk, sugar, eggwhites, stuff like that.

By the way, my beautiful and talented wife is the one who did the front of the house--the bit that Kola thought was cool. :-)

childs play
