Log homes have all sorts of roofs on top of them. Larry's has a 'saltbox roof' -- which means the ridge is offset.
You could do a gable roof, a gambrel roof, a hip roof, a shed roof, a flat roof, or a mansard roof. Just about any kind of roof you can imagine can work with a log home.
