members forum access

members forum access box

If you are a member of The Log Home Builder's Association of North America (meaning you have taken one of our classes) you can get into the member's area just by asking.

Here's how members can get access to the members only section of the forum:

  1. Create an account (if you don't already have one you can do that here.)
  2. Log in to the website here (or use the gray box on the left side of our home page).
  3. On our home page, scroll down and look for the tan box on the right that says: "Member access -- Have you attended an LHBA class? Click here to request access to the members section." It is only visible if you are logged in. Just click that link and follow the prompts. When you finish that we'll manually process your access request within a few days.

The box you are looking for looks like the second box below (the title is "Member Access"):

All access requests are processed manually, so sometimes it will be a few days before you are approved for access to the members forum. We may also e-mail you for additional documentation of your status as a member of the association (for instance, you may be asked to fax in a copy of your membership card, so don't lose it!)

It would be very helpful if you would use the access request feature shortly after attending the class.  If you wait till sometime next decade to send in an access request, then researching your membership status can take a very long time.

As always, feel free to e-mail us if you need assistance with this process.
