This is really an ingenious fence system.  The posts are telephone pole remnants and rejects, picked up from the phone company's yard. 

The cost was virtually zero, for a rock solid fence that will last nearly forever.

Interesting article I read in the LA Times about Buffalo. I get it via email and only read articles that intrest me-this is a good story. I did not know Buffalo could or would jump so high. It claims Buffalo can stand next to a 6 foot fence and leap over not at a run.Some Buffalo got out and a Colorado rancher had them shot.
