Here's the pool room. It's always nice to have the spare space for a pool table in your log home.
The windows were purchased at a 'bone yard' at a fraction of their retail cost, because the manufacture made a MAJOR mistake when they were making them...
The windows were supposed to be 8'6", but they were accidently made 8'3" so they ended up in the junk pile. Thier loss, Pam's gain!

The window in this room, the triple, was built by Quantum Windows in Everett for the restoration project on the old Tacoma Library. When I found it, it was already painted purple outside! But the inside was unfinished. And it was not the right size for them! Lucky me! I designed my whole window package around this magnificent piece. It is actually over eleven feet tall, and nine feet wide. Quantum builds with only the clearest fir. When I bought it 10 years ago, it would have brought over $4000. I got it and my mondo front door($2500 then) both in the bone yard for 1000!!! This room originally was to be the dining room. However, the pool table proved to be a better choice as it kept the teenagers close by. Few days went by that I didn't have a half-dozen or so kids here!
