Rocky incorporated a passive solar design while building his log home. 

These are the south facing windows where sunlight streams through and heats up his concrete floor.

 Notice the big rock in the foreground.  Rocky created many rock features on his grounds (no pun intended).  He used a Bobcat (also known as a skid steer) to move them into position.  Those large rocks really makes the landscaping look grand.
