avatar or pics for the site?

I have heard of people having issues changing avatgar pics since the last update. most members use photobucket, picasa, etc. for uploading of regular pictures, then just copying the "IMG" tag into the body of the post. The forum goes and finds the picture and loads it into the post.

The problem lies with the hosted server LHBA uses. Also noted, photos can't be added to the "Personal Files" of user accounts. Hopefully there'll be a fix forthcoming.

I just clicked on browse and went into "My Documents, My Pictures" found the picture in the file I wanted and used the one right on my computer. I will tell you that you may have to resize it to meet the 100 x 100 pixel requirement. That will require a photo editor of some kind to do the resizing. I used Microsoft Picture it no 7. It was cheap off ebay. Well good luck Al B. Slidell, La.

MS paint is free

you can just open the picture in ms paint, then go to image>attributes. This will give you the size of the image in pixels. make it square. divide 100/this number to get the scaling ratio. if it is .34825483257, enter 34% (something smaller than the actual ratio) in image>stretch/skew for both the horizontal and vertical ratios. Resave the pic as a different filename (jpg) and you are done.

Happy avataring.
