By responding to them, it sends a response notice back to the spammer, letting them know that someone has hit their "message." Better still, do not even click on their post. If you do, it shows how many people "viewed" their post. This only encourages more postings of spam.

Best course of action is to completely ignore the post. Admin will delete it shortly
