Here's a view from the side of this log home.
The foot print is an L shape. The wing on the left houses the living room on the first floor, and a bedroom on the second floor.
Notice the nice paved area and a basketball hoop beside the log home. Anyone care for a game of horse? H-O-R-S...
This log home also has a green standing seam metal roof. Using metal roofs on log homes has become very common because they offer a few advantages over wood shingles or composite roofing. Metal roofs can be very easy to install, they last a long time, tend to resist leaks and damage, and are very fire resistant (which is good on the 4th of July!).
