Attended Class March 25th/26th of 2006.

the high 60's low 70's here in West Tn. Lows in the 40's high 30's. Some areas are starting to get the trees budding and flowers opening up! I love spring and fall, not to hot not to cold just right!!!
Most place don't get the rain and snow Ragdump gets it's about 4000 feet but can get lots of snow and the average rainfall is well over 100 inches,we are in a drought year so far we've only got 71 inches

Ragdump Gold in them thare hills
Not to many people getting rich off digging for gold allot have tried,I have two friends that do it for a hobby, how ever not far from me they did find a 54 lb. nugget back in the 1800's even gave it a name called the Dog Town Nugget
There's some nice areas up there in the hills. Just depends on the building fees in any particular area. A lot of outdoor recreation. I'm just getting tired of the cost of living in CA. Can't afford out state government officials any more.

It's turning into the new Napa Valley with winerys all over,a friend that live up behind placerville had to have his well dug deeper because the winerys are using so much water. I've been all the way threw the Rubicon, the buggys are lite and will go without too much trouble,I even went from Buck Island lake out to Home wood at night when one of our group went into a diabetic comma.I own a autobody shop I fix smashed cars
Ragdump placer county
A friend of mine has property near you and gave up on the idea of building when he found it was going to cost 30 grand in fee's. I've done the Rubicon four times 2 in dune buggys and 2 on dirt bikes. The area around Ragdump is the best dirt bike riding in the state,it just doesn't get talked about much people try and keep it quit so it doesn't get over run
This is me and my buggy coming out of the little sluce
Ragdump is in Butte county not far from Oroville ,since the fires last summer you could say there's a fire sale on land . A fire storm raged threw the area below me called Concow burned over 200 homes most had no insurance only a hand full have been rebuilt some places just abandoned, many for sale signs, lands cheap some of it doesn't look bad others are incinerated
... maybe I shouldn't have said "like Ragdump". Yours is beautiful. The storm got blown past us pretty fast, so our accumulations were low. But it's not spring yet here, anyway. ; )
