Where to Blog

Now remind me again why I'm blogging in the first place? Ha! I'd like to keep friends and family up to date with my building process and possibly provide assistance to other LHBA Members through comments, pics, etc. But I'm not seeing how this blog can benefit those outside of this site. Can it be shared to the outside world or is it meant for members and viewed by visitors..?? I do think thats the case.

So I'm resurrecting my original blog  http://bradsloghome.blogspot.com/ so it can be easily accessed by all interested parties. I've enjoyed keeping up with Shilo's blog http://www.paragon-cs.com/shiloh/ which is found off-site.

Please comment if I'm all wet in my thinking.

Great to see your progress with foundation and getting your logs. I just finished class Sept.04,2010 and will be building north of you across the San Juan and Rio Grande National Forrest close to Hwy 149. I will be up the end of Sept. I might be able to help a day peeling logs . Leave me information on members sight if you like.

Hi Log Al,

I'll take you up on the peeling. Visit my blog for comments on that topic. These standing dead Logdepole's are are the beafy side and full of character. I'm told I asked a lot of the logger to produce these. My RP is huge with the logger claiming it weighed 7k-8k pounds. Don't know about that..the forklift didn't groan much. How do I pass on my info to you?
